I found the technician to be knowledgeable of my particular system. James was courteous and explained the steps that he was taking to troubleshoot and repair my system. He updated me before performing the work of the cost that would be incurred. My system is functioning exceptionally well and he explained the next steps necessary to keep my system updated and the cost. He notified me when he was on the way. He arrived on time. He had the part that I needed to repair my ac system on the truck. I highly recommend this company this company and I will certainly ask for this technician again.

A coworker recommended Automatic when I knew I had at least 1 ruptured pipe after our big freeze in Dec. 2022. Here's how it went from start to finish:
• I filled out their online "Get a Call Back" form and got a confirmation email.
• Kim called, made sure she understood all the info, got me on the schedule for the next day, and let me know I'd get a text when they were on their way. They also sent an email confirming the app't.
• 30 min into my 2-hr window, I got a text giving me the lead plumber's name and letting me know he was on his way.
• When Dustin arrived, he greeted me by name, checked again to make sure he had all the info about the known issue, and gave me a rundown of how they'd proceed.
• At each stage of the process, Dustin let me know what they'd found, what my options were, and what the approx cost would be for each. (He also showed me phone pics of what they were seeing so I didn't need to be a 3rd body in a space built for 1.)
• When everything was taken care of, he walked me again through each repaired item, showed me the work, and—because I'd asked—gave me a heads-up on other items I might want to take care of soon.
• He took payment via app, and I rcvd the itemized invoice immediately.

Note: Accessing this house's crawlspace is NOT a fun thing, and spending a bunch of time in it is, uh, also not a fun thing. For most of this job's 3.5 hrs, 2 guys worked together in that cramped space. A lot of people would've looked at the situation and simply declined to take it on.

Even if this had been a routine job, things couldn't have gone any better from the customer side. Much of the city had been without running water for several days because of water main breaks, and I'm sure nobody at Automatic had a holiday—but they were all super polite and took incredible care with their work. Cannot recommend highly enough.
